TURNING ON YOUR MACHINE
Before powering on, ensure the circulation switch is on. This allows the pump to activate when the machine is turned on. Check that the ink levels are above the minimum line, the waste ink bottle is not full, and there’s enough powder in the duster. Confirm all ink clips on the print head are shut.
When ready, power on the machine and let the pump circulate for three minutes. Turn on the vacuum setting and switch on the oven. Once circulation is complete, open the ink clips and adjust them to avoid kinks in the lines. Press the print head cleaning button and let the machine complete its cycle twice. Finish by performing a nozzle check to ensure everything is functioning properly.

SETTING UP YOUR ARTWORK
Start by opening Print Pro and uploading your design file. Use the Q RIP window to size your image, making sure to lock the aspect ratio by selecting the padlock icon. In the Image menu, select the White Underbase Choke option and set it to two pixels to fine-tune the design.
To create your layout, go to Home and select Open Layout. In the Layout tab, click New and choose OmniDTFas your environment. Select the 720 x 1800 option, which provides an excellent balance between speed and quality. Double-click your image to add it to the layout. If you need multiple copies, adjust the number of duplicates in the Selected Image Operation tab.

PRINTING YOUR JOB
Open Q Manager and select your design. Add the job to the queue, then start the RIP process by clicking Rip Job. Check the ink cost for your artwork by using the dropdown under Job Info. Save your layout by choosing Save Location, naming your file, and selecting Save Job in the Q Manager toolbar. When you’re ready, click Print to start the job.
SHUTTING DOWN YOUR MACHINE
To properly shut down the machine, close all ink clips and move the carriage fully to the left. Use a swab and Super Cleaner to clean the capping station and wiper blades thoroughly. Fill the capping station with Super Cleaner and clean the raised areas around the print plate, avoiding direct contact with the nozzle plate. In the software, select the Wet Cap function to return the print head to the moist capping station. Finally, turn off the machine.

REGULAR MAINTENANCE
Weekly maintenance includes cleaning the encoder strip with a lint-free cloth and 70% isopropyl alcohol to ensure smooth carriage movement. Monthly maintenance requires cleaning and lubricating the carriage rail. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe away grime, then apply a small amount of grease to the rail and move the carriage back and forth to distribute it evenly.
Alignment checks are essential for keeping your prints sharp. Use the OmniDTF software to print alignment patterns. Adjust the settings until the clearest lines appear in the zero column for vertical, horizontal, and bidirectional alignment.
CONCLUSION
By following these steps, you’ll maintain optimal performance and achieve stunning results with your OmniDTF printer. Stick to a regular maintenance schedule, and you’ll be ready to handle more jobs and impress your clients with high-quality prints.
