By aligning multiple films on one screen, you can print various designs in a single go, saving both time and resources. Whether you're printing front designs, left chest prints, or koozie prints, this method will streamline your process. Watch the video below for a detailed demonstration and read on for a step-by-step guide!

WHY ALIGN MULTIPLE FILMS?

Aligning multiple films on one screen allows you to:

  • Save Time: Reduce the number of screen setups, speeding up your printing process.
  • Conserve Resources: Use fewer screens, which cuts down on materials and costs.
  • Increase Efficiency: Streamline your workflow, making your production more efficient.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

1. PREPARE YOUR MATERIALS

  • Gather your films for the different prints you want to align.
  • Have your registration template ready for accurate placement.
  • Ensure you have a pen and tape for marking and securing the films.

2. ALIGN THE FIRST FILM

  • Start with your main design (e.g., a front print).
  • Use the registration template to center and align the film on the screen.
  • Once aligned, trace the registration marks with a pen.

3. POSITION ADDITIONAL FILMS

  • Next, position your other designs (e.g., left chest print, koozie print) around the main design.
  • Use the registration marks on the template to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Mark the positions with a pen for each additional film.

4. SECURE THE FILMS

  • Tape the films to the screen at the marked positions.
  • Double-check alignment to ensure all designs are correctly placed.

5. FINAL CHECK AND EXPOSURE

  • Before exposing the screen, review all placements to ensure accuracy.
  • Proceed with exposing the screen once satisfied with the alignment.

6. PRINT SETUP

  • When you take the screen to press, tape off areas not being printed to avoid unwanted ink transfer.
  • Print each design by un-taping the respective areas as needed.
