Hey Screen Printers, we’ve got another green screen printing tip for you! This video is all about helping you make your shop a little more Earth-friendly.
All you need is one bin to simplify your recycling and reordering processes.
Recycle: Chuck Your Used Containers in a Single Bin
In the United States, almost 75% of our daily used materials are recyclable. But we only recycle about 30% of those. A simple trick to get your practice a little closer to that 75% is to toss all your used and empty containers in a single recycling bin. This way, when you’re taking out your recycling you’ll only have to check one place to find all your containers. You want to make sure to place it in a central location, so that you don’t forget about it and it is easy for you or your team to use.
Reorder: Count Up the Empties and Place Your Order
Here’s an added bonus of this approach. It’s also a great way for you to keep up with your inventory. You can look at what you have in the bin at the end of a day, week, or month to evaluate which materials you’re using the most and which you need to reorder. It’s such an easy process to solve two big problems in most screen printing shops.
