A Day to Remember at Our 20th Anniversary Celebration | Screenprinting.com

We want to start by thanking everyone—our incredible customers, supportive vendors, and dedicated team—for making our 20th Anniversary Event so special. Your support over the years has been amazing, and this celebration was all about you.

LEARN FROM THE PROS

The event featured live demos from ZSK, showcasing their embroidery machines, and OmniPrint, highlighting their direct-to-film (DTF) machine. These sessions offered attendees an up-close look at the latest in screen printing technology. Our education sessions were a highlight, led by industry experts who shared invaluable knowledge:

  • Alex Mammoser covered everything you need to know about the Darkroom and Chemicals.
  • Kevin Kauth dove into the world of Darkroom and Emulsion, offering tips and tricks for mastering the process.
  • John Magee from Wilflex demonstrated live printing using discharge inks, giving attendees hands-on experience with this unique method.
  • Colin Huggins shared his expertise on Art and Separation, helping attendees improve their designs and improve their print quality.

A SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE

We were honored to have Riley Hopkins, the original creator of the renowned Riley Hopkins presses, join us for the celebration. Riley shared stories from his early days in the industry and insights into creating one of the most trusted names in screen printing equipment. Meeting him was a highlight for many, offering a rare chance to learn from a true pioneer.

HANDS ON PRINTING FUN

One of the highlights of the event was a live screen printing demonstration by Jennifer Sanderson, who used her Pigskins and Pigtails starter press to create some incredible designs. The demo was a hit, showing just how versatile and fun screen printing can be.

But the fun didn’t stop there! We were thrilled to have Makenna Drury, also known as @sunnyside_giggles, teaching kids how to screen print using the same Pigskins and Pigtails press. Makenna’s enthusiasm and skill made the experience exciting for the young attendees, and it was wonderful to see the next generation getting hands-on with screen printing.

DEALS, RAFFLES, AND MORE!

The day wasn’t just about learning—it was also a celebration! Our rummage sale offered great deals on supplies and equipment, and our raffles gave attendees a chance to win free prizes, adding even more excitement to the event.

A DAY OF FUN AND COMMUNITY

We also made sure there was plenty of fun with live music, good food, and refreshing drinks. Games and live printing added to the lively atmosphere, making it a perfect day to relax, enjoy, and connect with others in the screen printing community.

LOOKING AHEAD

As we celebrate 20 years, we’re grateful for the support from everyone who has been part of our journey. This event was not just about looking back—it was also about looking forward to the future of screen printing. We’re excited for what’s next and can’t wait to continue this journey with you. Thank you for celebrating with us, and stay tuned for more exciting events!
