You may have watched a recent social media post where we shared our experience in printing their tees! Read on for the event recap – this was more than just a printing job; it was our chance to make a meaningful contribution to the community through our expertise in screen printing.
THE ROQ STAR & POLYESTER PRINTING
Tackling the challenge of printing 500 polyester long sleeve shirts, we faced the typical hurdles of working with this slick, non-absorbent material. We chose to use Wilflex’s low-bleed, high-opacity ink, ensuring the vibrancy and durability of each print with our reliable ROQ Automatic Press. Aria said, "Participants loved the colors and the clarity of the printing. The shirt color was perfect for the season and the event…and the shirts' durability was appreciated by everyone”.Our ROQ NEXT P12 XL Automatic Press was the linchpin of this project. Known for its consistency and precision, it handled the intricate designs and polyester material with ease. "The quality printing helped advertise and promote the Run beautifully," Aria noted, underscoring the press' pivotal role in the project's success. Our printing process was meticulously orchestrated, with each screen and squeegee playing its part to perfection. Aria remarked, “We distributed nearly 470 shirts! We have a few left over that we will use for our course volunteers for next year's Run.”

FAVORITE MOMENTS FROM THE RUN
Aria proudly shared that “The Run for the Hungry gives participants (717 this year!) a true sense of teamwork and camaraderie as people from various backgrounds come together to feed people in the Camas and Washougal community. It is wonderful to see so many families making it a tradition! The last family to cross the finish line had two young boys and were given a giant stuffed animal that said ‘Last place finishers are winners too’. We love this because it emphasizes that everyone has an impact to feed the hungry, and it doesn’t matter what place you come in, it’s where your heart is!”RELATED: EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITY: RYONET TEAMS UP TO SUPPORT THE CLARK COUNTY FOOD BANK
