At Ryonet, we're more than just a company; we're a community-driven team that believes in the power of giving back. Last week, we once again had the privilege of joining forces with the Clark County Food Bank for a volunteering initiative that left a lasting impact on both our team and the local community.
UNDERSTANDING THE NEED
In a county of around 500,000 families, it's disheartening to learn that 127,000 of them faced food insecurity last year. These numbers painted a clear picture of the challenges our community members were grappling with. This reality spurred us into action, prompting us to contribute in any way we could.
Our team was up to the challenge. We rolled up our sleeves and packed an astounding 4,800 pounds of food – an effort that translated to approximately 4,000 meals! Each meal makes a difference to those in need.
MORE THAN JUST FOOD
While our primary goal was to provide much-needed meals, the experience went beyond that. It allowed us to connect with our local community on a deeper level. Supporting local communities is a cornerstone of our values, and the opportunity to lend a hand is always at the top of our list.
